Zhigang Wang (Japan)
Prof. Wang is Vice President of Gifu University, Japan, with responsibility for research, industry–academia collaboration, finance and serves as Professor of Mechanical Engineering. Since joining Gifu University in 1997, He has pursued research in metal forming, with particular emphasis on plate forging and process tribology. In 2006, he founded the Center for Advanced Die Engineering and Technology (CADET) at Gifu University, which has become a leading platform for research, technology transfer, and human resource development in advanced manufacturing and die engineering.
